based on computer models and recent comps along with a 25 page report on your home. We make recommendations on staging or anything that needs to be done. We'll go over the marketing plan and timeline. If both sides feel it's a fit, we can get the electronic documents started immediately and shoot the property right then or schedule for another day. PHOTOGRAPHY
One of the most overlooked and important ways to sell your home are great photos. We are award winning photographers and don't use 3rd party vendors. If we don't sell your home we don't get paid, so our motivation goes far above the average photographer that comes in on behalf of another Realtor. We know the rules of good photography, and sometimes we break them if it shows the property, pushes the story, is visually interesting, or shows the layout better.
CINEMATOGRAPHY
We'll create a look and feel of your property depending on the demographic of the potential buyers. We like to tell the stories of a property if the owners are keen on doing so. Tours, walk-throughs, talking heads, etc. are possible. Below are a few select projects. If the video looks terrible adjust quality by clicking the gear. It defaults to low rez, but we shoot in HD.
GEAR AND PROCESS
We have all of the tools and processes needed to sell your property. Drones, cameras, lighting, lenses, gimbals, sliders, mics, leading industry software, and almost 3 decades of experience set your home or business apart. We shoot guerilla style, so all of our equipment is lightweight, extremely capable, and mobile. We're also almost completely digital so transactions including paperwork are fast and easy.
VIRTUAL STAGING AND VIZ
Sometimes the interior or the grounds of a home needs some help. We'll measure the room and create a new one in 3D if needed. We redo interior design, paint, interiors, trim, create furnishings, art, and treatments to show the buyers the potential of the home. These images below look radically different from how they started out, but it gets buyers excited to see the possibilities. If we showed you the before of many of the images below, you may not believe it's the same space.
COMMERCIAL VIZ
Many times our clients will have a commercial property that they'd like help with as well. We have a large network of commercial realtors and channels to make sure the property gets seen all over the world. Below are some samples of commercial renderings and concepts we've done for clients. We also have a sample marketing plan available for download that we prepped for a commercial client. We shoot commercial photography with the same care as our residential projects.

FOUNDER
Hi, I'm Jamion Blackwell (Jay), the founder of the English Blackwell Realty Group. I'm a NY native so I talk and think pretty fast. I grew up in Colorado until 18 when I enlisted in the Army Infantry. After, I attended University in San Diego and received my degree in corporate finance. I'm self taught in most of the arts: cooking, general art, writing, design, photography, advertising, etc. I cut my teeth in the design business working for top studios in Los Angeles, before founding and running an international cosmetics brand for 13 years. These products were in Fred Segal, Caesars Palace, The Wynn, and about 120 other stores. Anyone that's in manufacturing knows the extreme difficulties and in 2010, I pivoted to Advertising--my true love, and moved to Houston. I genuinely love design and advertising, and worked with well known brands. What I didn't love were the clients--more specifically the hoards of gatekeepers I had to deal with before getting to the actual decision maker.
Real Estate is better, it's different, it's pure. We pick up the phone and pitch what we do or someone responds from an ad. We get a yes, no, or maybe--immediately, and work from there. We're there for the entire process and our work makes an immediate impact on someone's life that's calculable. Many times we sell houses that sat for years under other Realtors. It's very satisfying and often hear "You're the best Realtors we've ever had." I excel in negotiating, sales, pricing, and marketing. I also know my way around a house and what things cost or the effort involved in taking on a project. My background is diverse and I'm adept at problem solving.
I have a partner that's an agent for a different prestigious Realty firm, but we've worked well together for years so there is no reason to fix what's not broken. We have a small team that is very agile and able to adapt to situations.
The two questions I get asked the most are 1. What's up with the orange and black and 2. Where's English Blackwell from?
Answer: 1. What's cooler than black? Orange is vibrant, bold, high energy, and radiates warmth. 2. English Blackwell is a family name and pays homage to my British heritage.
